NL: Het zeecruiseseizoen van Antwerpen staat weer voor de deur. Op 15 februari zal MS Balmoral de spits afbijten. Het is het eerste van 25 bezoeken van zeecruiseschepen die gepland staan voor 2026. Ook dit jaar zullen opnieuw enkele schepen voor de eerste keer in de stad te zien zijn.
EN: Antwerp's sea cruise season is just
around the corner. MS Balmoral will kick things off on 15 February. It is the
first of 25 visits by sea cruise ships planned for 2026. Once again this year,
several ships will be visiting the city for the first time.
NL: MS Balmoral sloot eind december het
cruiseseizoen af en zal het nieuwe seizoen van 2026 ook opnieuw openen. Op 15
& 16 februari zal het schip aan het cruiseponton aanmeren tijdens een
Valentijnscruise. In totaal staan er momenteel 25 aanlopen gepland voor 2026 die
goed zijn voor 35 ligdagen.
Na die eerste aanloop blijft het bijna twee maanden stil
voordat het volgende zeecruiseschip, MS Ambition, begin april richting
Antwerpen komt. Van 12 tot 14 maart krijgen we wel nog bezoek van het Tall Ship
Dar Młodzieży dat haar
jaarlijkse training start met kadetten van de Antwerp Maritime Academy. Voor
wie het schip dit jaar wil zien is het de enige kans want het zal niet aanwezig
zijn tijdens de Tall Ships Races in juli.
EN: MS Balmoral concluded the cruise
season at the end of December and will also open the new season in 2026. On 15
and 16 February, the ship will dock at the cruise pontoon during a Valentine's
Day cruise. A total of 25 calls are currently planned in 2026, accounting for
35 days at berth.
After that first
call, there will be a break of almost two months before the next ocean-going
cruise ship, MS Ambition, arrives in Antwerp at the beginning of April. From 12
to 14 March, we will however be visited by the Tall Ship Dar Młodzieży, which
will start its annual training with cadets from the Antwerp Maritime Academy.
For those who want to see the ship this year, this is the only chance, as it
will not be present during the Tall Ships Races in July.
NL: In april zal de eerste Maiden Call
plaatsvinden. De 220 meter lange MS Renaissance van Compagnie Française de
Croisières komt op 15 april voor de eerste keer naar Antwerpen. Kort erna komt
ook het Noorse schoolschip MS Gann voor de eerste keer naar de stad, maar omdat
het om een schoolschip gaat en geen cruise, wordt het niet als cruiseaanloop
geteld.
Windstar Cruises stuurt tussen eind april en eind mei hun
schip MS Star Pride maar liefst 5 keer naar Antwerpen. Tussen die aanlopen komt
ook MS Europa 2 opnieuw langs en vindt ook de tweede Maiden Call plaats. Op 17
mei zal het luxecruisejacht MS SeaDream II voor de eerste keer naar Antwerpen
komen. Het is ook de eerste keer dat de rederij de stad bezoekt.
Eind mei komt het Duitse expeditiecruiseschip MS Hanseatic
Spirit opnieuw naar Antwerpen en in juni komt ook MS Europa van Hapag-Lloyd nog
langs, samen met nog twee aanlopen van MS Clio en één van MS Azamara Quest.
EN: The first Maiden Call will take
place in April. The 220-metre-long MS Renaissance, owned by Compagnie Française
de Croisières, will visit Antwerp for the first time on 15 April. Shortly
afterwards, the Norwegian school ship MS Gann will also visit the city for the
first time, but because it is a school ship and not a cruise ship, it will not
be counted as a cruise call.
Windstar
Cruises will send their ship MS Star Pride to Antwerp no fewer than five times
between the end of April and the end of May. Between those calls, MS Europa 2
will also visit again and the second Maiden Call will take place. On 17 May,
the luxury cruise yacht MS SeaDream II will visit Antwerp for the first time.
It will also be the first time that the shipping company has visited the city.
At the end
of May, the German expedition cruise ship MS Hanseatic Spirit will return to
Antwerp, and in June, MS Europa from Hapag-Lloyd will also call, along with two
more calls from MS Clio and one from MS Azamara Quest.
NL: Begin juli komt de derde en laatste Maiden
Call voor 2026 naar Antwerpen. Silversea stuurt MS Silver Spirit voor de eerste
keer voor twee aanlopen naar de stad. Tussen de twee bezoeken is het de beurt
aan de 8ste editie van The Tall Ships Races. Kom van 11 tot en met
14 juli de historische zeilschepen bezichtigen aan de kaaien en in de dokken
rond het MAS.
In augustus stuurt Regent Seven Seas Cruises hun MS Seven
Seas Mariner en MS Seven Seas Voyager naar Antwerpen en ook Seabourn bezoekt de
stad met MS Seabourn Ovation.
September brengt vier cruiseschepen naar de stad. MS Clio
komt nog langs voor haar derde en laatste aanloop van 2026. Ook MS Balmoral
komt opnieuw langs, alsook Le Champlain van Ponant. Het vierde schip voor
september is MS Deutschland. Wie het schip nog onder vlag van Phoenix Reisen
wil zien zal deze kans moeten grijpen. Het schip verlaat begin september hun
vloot. MS Deutschland zal Antwerpen bezoeken op haar allerlaatste cruise voor
hen.
De laatste zeecruiseaanloop voor 2026 staat momenteel
gepland op 8 oktober met MS Hanseatic Nature van Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
Zoals altijd zijn de aanlopen onder voorbehoud van
wijzigingen.

EN: At the beginning of July, the third
and final Maiden Call for 2026 will arrive in Antwerp. Silversea is sending MS
Silver Spirit to the city for the first time for two calls. Between the two
visits, it will be time for the 8th edition of The Tall Ships Races. Come and
see the historic sailing ships at the quays and in the docks around the MAS
from 11 to 14 July.
In August,
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will send their MS Seven Seas Mariner and MS Seven

September
brings four cruise ships to the city. MS Clio will be making her third and
final call of 2026. MS Balmoral will also be returning, as will Le Champlain
from Ponant. The fourth ship for September is MS Deutschland. Those who want to
see the ship under the Phoenix Reisen flag will have to seize this opportunity.
The ship will be leaving their fleet at the beginning of September. MS
Deutschland will visit Antwerp on its very last cruise for them.
The last
sea cruise call for 2026 is currently scheduled for 8 October with MS Hanseatic
Nature from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
