Dubbele cruiseaanloop / Double cruise call - Oriana & Europa 2015

Op zaterdag 17 oktober 2015 zullen er opnieuw twee cruiseschepen op dezelfde dag in Antwerpen aanmeren. Namelijk MS Europa van Hapag-Lloyd Cruises en MV Oriana van P&O Cruises. Op zich is een dubbele aanloop niet zo speciaal maar deze keer wel.

MS Europa zal zoals gewoonlijk aanmeren aan de cruiseterminal aan het Zuiderterras.

MV Oriana daarentegen komt niet tot in de binnenstad. Doordat het schip een te grote diepgang heeft geraakt het niet tot bij de cruiseterminal en zal het, net zoals vorig jaar, opnieuw uitwijken naar de dokken van de Antwerpse haven. MV Oriana zal aanmeren aan Kaai 206-212 in het Leopolddok

On Saturday 17th of October 2015 Antwerp will once again be visited by two cruise ships on the same day, namely MS Europa from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and MV Oriana from P&O Cruises. Normally a double cruise call isn't that special, but this one is.

MS Europa will, as always, dock at the cruise terminal in the city centre.

MV Oriana on the other hand, will not sail to the cruise terminal. Because the draft of the ship is to high it will not be able to dock in the city centre. The ship will, just like last year, be diverted to the docks in the port of Antwerp. MV Oriana will dock at Quay 206-212 in the Leopolddok.
