Cruise Port Antwerp heeft de officiële lijst met
cruiseaanlopen voor 2015 vrijgegeven. In totaal staan er momenteel 21
cruiseaanlopen gepland. Het seizoen wordt dit jaar op 10 april geopend door de
Braemar van Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
Ook de Balmoral komt nog 2 keer naar de stad. Natuurlijk is ookHapag-Lloyd Cruises dit jaar weer van de
partij. Deze keer met één call van de Europa 2 en twee calls van de Europa. Op
14 en 15 juni zal het culinaire festival Europa's
Beste opnieuw plaats vinden in Antwerpen aan boord van de Europa.
Veder komt ook het expeditieschip National Geographic
Explorer begin mei opnieuw naar Antwerpen. Ook Seabourn komt terug met hun
cruisejacht Seabourn Quest. Een zeer veel voorkomende rederij dit jaar is Cruise & Maritime Voyages. Zij
zullen in totaal maarliefst 9 aanlopen maken met 3 verschillende schepen:
Astor, Marco Polo en Magellan. Magellan, die CMV juist overgekocht heeft zal 5
keer naar Antwerpen komen. De eerste aanloop zal op 6 juni zijn. In december
komt het schip terug naar Antwerpen voor 3 kerstcruises.
Op 12 en 13 september zal het expeditiecruiseschip
Corinthian voor het eerst in Antwerpen liggen. Met een lengte van slechts 88
meter zal ze de titel van kleinste cruiseschip dat ooit in Antwerpen lag
krijgen.
P&O Cruises lijkt Antwerpen ook ontdekt te hebben. De
Oriana, die ook in 2014 in Antwerpen lag, zal opnieuw naar de Scheldestad
komen. Veder staat ook de Arcadia gepland, maar die aanloop is nog onzeker.
Daarover zullen we meer informatie kunnen geven dichter tegen de datum aan.
Moest het schip komen wordt het, met 290 meter, het grootste cruiseschip dat
ooit in Antwerpen heeft gelegen en stoot daarmee Mein Schiff (263 meter) van de
troon. De Arcadia zou zich dan wel in de Antwerpse haven leggen, net zoals de
Oriana.

Cruise Port
Antwerp has released the official list with cruise calls for 2015. At the
moment there are a total of 21 calls booked. This year the season starts on
April 10th with the Braemar from Fred.
Olsen Cruise Lines. The MS Balmoral will also make two calls this year. Of
course Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will also
come back this year with two of their ships: Europa 2 and Europa. On June 14th
& 15th the culinary festival Europa's
Beste will once again take place in Antwerp onboard the Europa.
The
expedition ship National Geographic Explorer will also return to Antwerp in May
of this year. Seabourn will also call in Antwerp with their cruiseyacht
Seabourn Quest. A very prominent guest this year is Cruise & Maritime
Voyages (CMV). They will make a total of 9 calls with 3 different ships: Astor,
Marco Polo, Magellan. Magellan, which CMV just bought, will come 5 times to
Antwerp. The maiden call will be on June 6th. In December the ship will return
for 3 Christmas cruises.
On
September 12th & 13th the expedition cruise ship Corinthian will call at
Antwerp on her maiden call. With a length of only 88 metres she will set the
record for the smallest cruise ship that ever docked in Antwerp.

Cruises also seems to have discovered Antwerp. Oriana will, just like in 2014,
make a call in Antwerp. Further there is also a call from Arcadia planned, but
that's still unsure. We will be able to give more information about that closer
to the date. When the ship with a length of 290 metres should come, it will set
the record for the largest cruise ship ever in Antwerp, taking over the title
from Mein Schiff (263 metres). Arcadia would then, just like Oriana, berth in
the docks of the Port of Antwerp.
